Illegal Online Sellers in United Arab Emirates (UAE) may lead with hefty fine up to Dh500,000 by selling online without securing a trade license. This is to protect the consumer from purchasing non quality items from online seller.
These include food supplements, tailoring and beauty products and businesses from home. Selling clothes, homemade food, shoes, accessories and gadgets. UAE government has been cracking down on illegal websites selling products. They shut down several online sites in 2018. Under the law, residents must secure a license to operate before selling anything.
