OFW Who Lost His Job Abroad Commit Suicide During Quarantine

OFW loses his job abroad due to crisis, commit suicides due to depression.

An OFW from Kuwait was found hanging below the stairs and lifeless in a quarantine facility for returning OFWs from abroad in Pasay City. The OFW was identified as Algen Cadungog, 42, and from Demapaco Libungan, Cotabato City. He arrived on April 4 in the Philippines and is currently in quarantine.

His roommate found it at the quarantine site hanging with a scarf on the stairs. According to his companion, he saw Cadungog under stress two hours before suicide.

OFW Experience Depression

According to authorities, it was once again intended to commit suicide while in another country. Pasay City Public Information says it has been reported to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to communicate with Cadungog’s family.
