A nightmare for 1 FIlipino From 13 Crew From Sank Cargo Ship in Japan
Sendai, JApan – Authorities are still searching for 14 crew members of a cargo ship sank in Japan. They are still missing after a Belize-flagged cargo ship collided with a fishing boat in northeastern Japan prefecture of Aomori last night, according to Japan Coast Guard. The 1,989-tonne Guo Xing 1 ship quickly sank shortly after its collision with a fishing boat around 10:15 last night.
Among those wanted were seven Chinese, five Vietnamese and one Filipino. Only one Vietnamese crew member was rescued in the incident. The cargo ship was transported with 3,150 tons of scrap metal from Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture and was to be transported to South Korea.
